A refined identity system for RST Collective, a Brooklyn-based real estate team built on collaboration, transparency, and high-touch client service. The brand balances timeless typography, a rich green color story, and tactile editorial cues to create a visual system that feels sophisticated, personal, and distinctly positioned within the New York real estate market.
Initial logo directions
The Challenge
RST Collective had already gone through multiple logo explorations before the project began, but the existing identity still did not reflect the team’s ambition, market position, or creative sensibility. Their marketing felt disconnected from the experience they delivered: thoughtful, high-touch, strategic, and deeply personal.
The challenge was to create a brand system that could represent multiple strong personalities under one collective identity. It needed to feel polished enough for luxury listings, approachable enough for family-oriented Brooklyn buyers, and flexible enough to scale across everything from postcards and newsletters to social campaigns, stationery, and future private templates.
Strategic Foundation
The brand exploration focused on three core territories: modern empowerment, curated experience, and in-the-moment lifestyle. Each direction considered how the team could express confidence, service, and local market knowledge through a distinct visual lens.
The selected direction leaned into timeless modernity: sophisticated, minimal, understated, and quietly confident. Rather than chasing trend-driven real estate branding, the identity was built around restraint, texture, and editorial refinement. Inspiration came from luxury hospitality, boutique interiors, fashion-adjacent typography, and elegant lifestyle brands, creating a visual language that felt premium without becoming cold or inaccessible.
Digital Expression
For social and email, the system was designed to support both lifestyle storytelling and listing-driven communication. The visual direction prioritized natural light, refined interiors, strong typographic hierarchy, and a sense of editorial calm, giving the team a recognizable presence without overwhelming the properties themselves.
The Outcome
The final brand direction gave RST Collective a more sophisticated and ownable identity, one that better reflected the experience they provide: collaborative, strategic, transparent, and highly considered.
By grounding the system in timeless typography, a distinctive green palette, refined texture, and flexible applications, the identity positioned the team as both elevated and approachable. It gave RST Collective the foundation to launch into the new year with a brand that felt more aligned with their market, their clients, and the collective strength of the team.
