Compass Real Estate | 2020The Goal:
Showcase the region’s award-winning Compass real estate agents with half or full page features in local publications, using fresh, modern layouts and design to stand out among the competition.
The Process:
Agents bought in for either half or full pages in the section, with a choice of narrative or Q&A-style copy. Photography was also provided by agents, using either their headshot or images from lifestyle photo shoots.
With both photo and copy content coming from each agent on a staggered timeline, we streamlined the process by creating a set of variable layouts built along a grid. Both half and full page layouts emphasized large typography, and could be adapted for various lengths of copy or image sizes.

After the initial sketches were pitched, we refined the typography and layouts into base templates for the final spreads, taking into account consistency in typography and the way different half-page sections work together as a system.
The Result:
The final spreads showcased a fresh and dynamic design approach for the 2020 year, with positive feedback from the agents involved and their peers.
